She is a double winner of the MMG Award for Best Reggae Act and winner of Radio Cardiff’s ‘Best Local Artist’ and has opened the show for the likes of Soul II Soul, Tarrus Riley and Julian Marley as well as performing at Glastonbury, Boomtown and many more festivals
Aleighcia was also the first person to curate and present a full length reggae show for BBC Radio Wales resulting in her own show every Thursday night. With releases from Peckings Records and now set to release a debut album with the legend of sound and production, Rory Stonelove, the future is looking bright.
